As it turns out, there is a Macedonian-Orthodox couple that live just down the street from me---and they're getting married this weekend. ...and I got to make their crowns. It's a cool crown set, with an even more precious set of mini-crowns (cake topper/Christmas Ornaments). In fact, these ornaments have prompted me to create an official mini-crown-holder so that the little sets can more readily be used as cake toppers. Getting ready to list them on the website :)

I started OrthodoxWeddingCrowns.com in 2006. A few weeks ago a customer from 2007/2008 contacted me to see about having some additional wedding dates added to the interior of their crown set: Relatives had used the crown set and there is room on the interior of the crowns to help commemorate those dates. The crowns arrived earlier this weekend, and it was just such a funny thing for me to get to see one of "my" crown sets from over a decade ago. I must have made these back when Josh and I still lived in Maryland, as it's all cold-metal...

Next Weekend is GreekFest at Indy's Greek Orthodox Church. I've got a small ad in their Ad book. And then one month later is the Festival at my church: St George Festival. I'm the Title Sponsor this year (!!!) and have the full back page of the Ad book...and am on the flyers all around town. Exciting Times!

Alright, the Babies are back in school, as of last Thursday....so that means I get some guilt-free dedicated work-time in the shop. Between the regular orders this week, I'm working on getting the new Wooden Crown line up and going...and i'm adding some options to the candle page...in theory! This is going to be a really interesting year, I think. Lots of opportunities on the horizon. More info soon! (Georgia is in 1st now, and Arie is in 3rd. They attend a Spanish-Immersion school. It's awesome, overwhelming, amazing, satisfying, and exhausting all at the same time. For the kids and...

Hello All! I'm back from my summer break, so to speak. I ended up still fulfilling a few emergency orders, as I feel sick to my stomach if I know I can help in a situation, but don't. I was glad that I did that, because, then, I heard from a customer because of a really ridiculous mistake I made on their crown set. I felt Awful about that...but I was able to get it fixed in time. So, a lot was learned these last 2 weeks. A lot in my studio was cleaned up. A lot of mental...
