1) My Laser is back up and running as of 30 minutes ago 2)Scrapmetaljewelry.com is up and running as of last night. Josh is currently fiddling with some graphics on it. It'll look like OWC, but we're at least (trying to) changing the name on the header to Scrap Metal Jewelry. 3)There are a couple of items up for sale on Scrap metal jewelry. Not least of which is this silliness: Go read about it on its item page!
Festival is coming up quickly!

Here's the back-page ad for the festival Ad Book. If you're in the Indy area that weekend, come see me! I won't have things for sale, but am planning on having an informational booth set up---videos going of my work and workshop.

I haven't mentioned this yet, have I? I literally have nothing on the website yet. but I have so many jewelry ideas to make out of the cool metal-scraps I have!!! I had to do it. It's printed up on the backside of my regular OWC business card. So, it's real-- I mail a bunch of my business cards everyday in shipments. But nothing on the site. Maybe that's what I need to do today, eh? Sigh. I'd rather laser. Feels more productive.

I'm feeling frustrated, but also hopeful and excited. It's a very restless feeling. Last week, i had an AWESOME laser day. I did some much on it, got so much tested, got some fun silly things made for my kids' school...had patterns prepped to do a full day of tasering the next day.....and it broke. Long story short, laser part works fine. I think it's the control board that has gone out, though. The Company is being very responsive and helpful, so I'm not angry about that, per se. I'm just really annoyed that --it feels like anytime I start to...
Giddi's Workshop

My dad. God bless him. He has so many health problems. But when it comes to being Giddi, nothing gets him down. My dad was an Electronics Repair teacher in the Vigo County School Corp. for his entire career. My dad helped his dad--my Giddo-- run his repair workshop for decades... that kind of tinkering is just in our blood! He's long retired now, but over the years, as the grandkids have gotten older, my dad has slowly set-up his workshop again. It is a full-blown place of activity now. I think all of the kids have projects in...
